New Hanover County 4-H is excited to host the first-ever Southeast 4-H District S.T.E.M. Day on Sept. 26, 2026.
Youth ages 10–18 from across the Southeast 4-H District are invited to spend the day discovering the exciting world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S.T.E.M.) through hands-on activities, exploration, and learning.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the North Carolina Cooperative Extension - New Hanover County Center and Arboretum. Participants will have the opportunity to explore S.T.E.M. concepts through engaging, hands-on activities designed to encourage curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and discovery.
Registration is $25 per participant and includes lunch. Space is limited, so interested
youth are encouraged to register by 5 p.m. on Sept. 11.

Youth in New Hanover County also can apply for scholarships to attend this local 4-H event at no cost. Scholarship opportunities are available to eligible youth who are accepted to attend.
