Most of the county's monthly municipal meetings are finished for August with officials not scheduled to meet again until September.
In addition to regularly scheduled meetings, you might want to mark Sept. 15 on your calendar for the proposed Cape Fear Memorial Bridge replacement public hearing. The hearing will be from 4:30-7:30 p.m. at the Leland Cultural Arts Center, 1312 Magnolia Village Way in Leland.
