Two adults were found dead inside a New Hanover County home early on the morning of July 30.
Deputies responded to 5841 Rowsgate Lane at the request of emergency rescue services and found a dead man and woman inside the residence, according to a Facebook post from the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office. Both suffered apparent gunshot wounds.
Investigators believe it to be an isolated incident with no known threat to the community.
The investigation remains active and additional information will be released as it becomes available, the sheriff’s office said.
