What is the story about?
A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and killed in the 3500 block of Market Street, according to the Wilmington Police Department.
An SUV traveling west struck a 33-year-old man in the roadway on Sept. 4 before 11 p.m., and he died at the scene, police said.
Police said the man’s identity is being withheld at this time, pending notification of his family.
The police department’s traffic unit is investigating the collision. Police said more information will be released as it becomes available.
