The final stretch of the fall sports regular season is bringing plenty of big performances from Wilmington-area high school athletes.
As the weather slowly creeps towards a true fall feeling in Southeastern
North Carolina, area athletes continue to heat up across the board. Week 7 of the high school football season brought big scores and blowout wins for several teams.
Now it's up to the fans to decide the next StarNews Athlete of the Week. Below you can vote for any of the 20 nominees, who have been selected based on standout performances during the week of Sept. 28 - Oct. 3. Vote as many times as you like now below until Friday, Oct. 9 at noon.
