Castle Hayne woman was arrested Oct. 23 and charged in connection with a death that occurred nearly five months ago.
Dale Ann Carr, 69, was taken into custody by the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office. She faces a first-degree murder charge in connection with the death of Paul Carr on May 30, according to court records.
The defendant has no criminal history, according to a court document. She is scheduled to make her first court appearance Oct. 23.
A bond has not been authorized.
