A Minnesota-based developer recently made a $3 million purchase on Savannah's east side, according to recent property transfer records.

The property is located at 3700 Wallin St. near its intersection with Skidaway Road. The property is near the McAlpin Square shopping center home to Kroger and Goodwill.

The property was purchased by Wallin Street Storage, LLC, a company with a registered address that matches Doran Companies. Doran is a developer with a portfolio primarily consisting of multi-family housing, although there are institutional, commercial and self-storage projects listed on its projects page.

The company lists a Savannah Self Storage, located 12 miles southwest of Downtown Savannah, on its project list, according to the company's

website.

The Wallin Street property was sold by Iglesia Pentecostal Evangelistas Unidos en Cristo Inc.

The property at 3700 Wallin St. recently sold for $3 million.
