The Savannah market’s home sales took a seasonal dip in September, according to Redfin data.
There were 536 home sales in September this year which is 7.5% below this month’s sales last year. September’s fall comes after a strong summer of home sales that saw typical peaks in June and July.
Home sales declined nearly 40 sales from August, which had 605 sales and kept up the summer run of over 600 sales that started in June.
Redfin’s three-year data shows that fall historically features a drop from the Summer’s sales, often starting in August and continuing through the new year. However, September’s sale totals comes with the largest year-over-year decline since April.
