Lululemonshoppers in Atlantahave noticed something missing this week.
The popular athleticwear retailer has permanently closed its store on Howell Mill Road, leaving some Atlanta shoppers wondering whether the closure is part of something bigger.
The store at 1168 Howell Mill Road NW closed its doors Saturday, Aug. 29. A sign posted at the location tells customers the store is permanently closing and points them toward Lululemon’s Ponce City Market location instead.
Here's what to know.
Is Lululemonclosing its Atlanta stores?
No. At least not based on what the company has announced.

The closure is specific to the West Midtown location. Lululemon continues to list other Atlanta-area stores, including locations at Ponce City Market, Vinings Jubilee, Shops Around Lenox and Perimeter Mall.
The retailer also has stores across Georgia.
Lululemon did not announce a broader shutdown.
Instead, a company spokesperson said the decision to close the Howell Mill store came "after thoughtful consideration," according to ANF.
