There are only two months left in the midterms, and there are a sizable number of Georgians who are still unsure who to vote for. Candidates will need to convince them, and they will need to focus on the issues they care most about.
Most important issue for Georgia voters
Whether you call it inflation, cost of living, or affordability, it seems Georgians are most concerned about their bank accounts. About 40% of voters put it as their top concern in surveys by AARP and Fox News.
Another survey by UGA School of Public & International Affairs found 26.8% of voters believe inflation/cost of living is the most important issue, followed by economy/jobs at 18.1% and taxes at 9.3%.
State Navigate reported 30% of respondents believe the state of Georgia's economy has gotten "much worse" over
the last year, and 58% of those in the Wick poll believed the economy is getting worse. Almost 60% of Wick respondents also said, regarding the Iran conflict, that they are more concerned about the impact on prices and cost of living rather than the potential for Iran developing a nuclear weapon.
