An Atlanta-based real estate investment firm acquired three multi-family and community business parcels in Savannah at a $10 million price tag, according to local property transfer records.
The three properties are vacant and located on Abercorn Street and White Bluff Road between Hampton Street and Hood Street. The acquired parcels include a former La Quinta Inn & Suites and the site of a now-closed Denny’s.
The properties were purchased by Abercorn APT LLC, a company registered to the address of Tioga Capital LLC. The firm focuses on multifamily, single-family and commercial developments with $260 million in active assets in its portfolio, according to the company’s website.
Construction fencing currently lines portions of the properties, with
a “COMING SOON” sign posted below signage for PARC Abercorn Apartments. Tioga Capital did not respond to a request for further comment by publication time.
