Georgia’sdry stretch is about to get a major change.
The National Weather Service of Atlantasays periods of heavy rainfallcould begin Friday and continue through the weekend, with some localized areas potentially picking up 3 to 4 inches of rain.

"Uncertainty remains higher than normal regarding expected totals," the NWS said.
So, will Georgia flood?
The NWS says isolated flooding or
flash flooding may be possible, with heavy rainfall expected to be the primary weather hazard through the weekend.
