Caribbean trips will continue even now that summer vacations are ending. But, if any Georgia families are planning something for later this year, they may need to make adjustments.
Delta Airlines confirmed that, by next month, it will no longer offer flights between Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Argyle International Airport on the island of Saint Vincent. A Delta spokesperson told the USA Today Co. via email Thursday that they apologize to passengers impacted and the company will be reaching out directly about alternate options.
Atlanta fliers will still be able to travel to Nassau, Punta Cana, and other Caribbean destinations through Delta.
When does Delta Airlines' St Vincent route end?
The final scheduled flight will be on Sept. 5.
Reason for Delta Airlines' St Vincent route ending
Delta didn't attribute any specific
reasons for the change. It simply said it routinely evaluates a variety of factors when making network decisions like customer demand, seasonality, aircraft availability, operating costs, and broader operational considerations.
