Raising Cane's serves only chicken finger meals. 'It's our one love'
Raising Cane's describes itself as "a restaurant that only serves chicken fingers." It was a "business plan (that) received the lowest grade in a college class because the professor said it wouldn't work....Raising Cane’s has ONE LOVE — quality chicken finger meals, and we serve them better than anyone else. Certified bird specialistshand batter" the chicken, which is then marinated for 24 hoursbefore being cooked to order. No heat lamps are used.
The first Raising Cane opened Aug. 28, 1996, in an old building at the North Gates of Louisiana State University. Its headquarters are located in Baton Rouge.
