It seems Georgia has lost another restaurant chain, and we may not be the only ones.
The Tennessean reported Wednesday that O'Charley's Restaurant and Bar is ending its 55 years in dining, based on other news sources and after speaking to several restaurant servers. Similar stories have been reported out of Ohio, Texas, Virginia, and other states.
O'Charley's locations in Georgia
Georgia's last three O'Charley's were in Canton, Fort Oglethorpe, and Stockbridge. WSB-TV in Atlanta confirmed their closures, reporting a sign announcing the closure on Stockbridge's door and calls that failed to connect at all three locations.
Is O'Charley's closing for good?
In addition to locations closing across the country, O'Charley's social media pages have disappeared and visitors to the website will receive a "Site not found"
message. However, early reports indicate franchised locations may be allowed some more time.
USA Today Co. has contacted the company for confirmation on the chain's status but has not yet received a response.
Is O'Charley's bankrupt?
We have no information on any bankruptcy filings made by O'Charley's or its primary shareholder Cannae Holdings.
