Of the manhy Mexican restaurants in Atlanta, not to mention the hundreds more across Georgia, only one made it on Yelp's top 100 list.

The Yelp Elite Squad looked at businesses in the Mexican category, then ranked them based on the volume and ratings of reviews. When available, all businesses had a passing health score as of July 31. The list was last updated on Sept. 8.

Best Mexican restaurant Atlanta

Casi Cielo ranked No. 6 with Yelp saying "Experience vibrant Mexican cuisine at Casi Cielo, a modern restaurant blending traditional flavors with creative, contemporary dining. There is a brunch, lunch, and dinner menu at Casi Cielo with the latter being the biggest. Some of the favorites we saw include:

Croquetas de Platano: Fried plantains with Oaxaca cheese and salsa de mole colorado.
Arrachera Tlayuda: Steak, bean pure, queso Oaxaca, marrow, salsa macha, cebollas toreadas, and chile jalapeno sauce.
Tostada de Pork Belly: Marinated with caramelized salsa mocha, mango pico de gallo
Pato Con Mole Negro: Duck carnitas, red onions, cilantro, black mole and rice.
Pollo Caramelizado Tacos: Chicken, tamarind macha sauce, onions, cilantro, and avocado pure.
