Site plans for a new Parker's Kitchen have been submitted to the city of Richmond Hill, according to minutes from the June 8 planning and zoning meeting. The project was approved by council April 7.
Allison Hersh, president of Capricorn Communications, confirmed the project is in the permitting and design phase, but it is too early to provide construction, opening or hiring timelines. The new facility will be in the Heartwood community, a 10,000-home planned development.
Bill Cunningham, vice president of real estate for Raydient, has a vision for the community. Heartwood's commercial district is growing, as Starbucks and Zaxby's are already open. A home improvement store is coming across the street.
Fellowship Heartwood, a 220-bed assisted living
facility, will break ground this fall and Community Bible Church, CBC Richmond Hill, a church plant from CBC Savannah, is also expected to be constructed in the community.
