Election day is under one week away, and that means early voting in Chatham County is set to begin.

Early voting polling locations in the county opened Tuesday, starting a three-week run of voting before election day on Nov. 3. Chatham County has six early voting locations with options for weekday, and weekend, voting.

Absentee ballots can also be requested through Oct. 23. Those ballot requests can be submitted by mail, email, fax, online at the statewide website, or in-person at the Chatham County Voter Registration office.

Here is everything you need to know about early voting in Chatham County.

Weekday voting

Chatham County voters can do so early from Oct. 13 to Oct. 30 at one of six locations across the county.

Voter Registration Annex, 1249 Eisenhower Drive, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Mosquito Control, 65 Billy B Hair Drive, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Islands Library, 50 Johnny Mercer Blvd., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Pooler City Hall, 100 SW US Highway 80, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Civic Center, 301 W Oglethorpe Ave., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Southwest Library, 14097 Abercorn St., 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Weekend Voting

Saturday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 24

Drop box locations

Voters can drop off absentee ballots to boxes at three of the early voting locations. Drop boxes are available during early voting hours listed above.

The three drop box locations are at VR Annex, Mosquito Control and Islands library.
