A 91 year-old in Georgiahas earned her GEDdecades after leaving school without her diploma.
Helen Woodyard has accomplished something she once regretted never finishing.
Woodyard became the oldest person in Georgia over the past decade to earn a GED credential when she crossed the stage during a commencement ceremony at West Georgia Technical College in Waco on July 29.
She was among 91 students who completed high school equivalency diplomas or English as a Second Language programs through the college.
Here's what else to know.
When did she state attending classes?
Woodyard started attending classes on her 88th birthday after watching her four children earn their degrees.

She said she had always regretted not finishing her own education and wanted to accomplish what her children had done.
"I never finished so I always regretted not getting my diploma," Woodyard said, according to WSBTV.
Woodyard said she continued because she does not quit something once she starts it.
'The Lord started a work in me'
Faith also played an important role in Woodyard's decision to keep working toward her GED.
"The Lord started a work in me, and I was willing to spend all the time I had left before I died to finish," she said, according to WSBTV.
Her accomplishment was met with a standing ovation when she crossed the stage during the July 29 commencement ceremony.
West Georgia Technical College President Dr. Julie Post read a framed congratulatory letter from the mayor of LaGrange before presenting Woodyard with her diploma.
