From art exhibits and comic cons to car shows and more, convention centers have a lot of uses. The bigger they are, the bigger the possibilities.
On Thursday, WorldAtlas released its list of the largest convention centers in America, including one in Georgia.
Biggest convention center in Georgia
At No. 4 is the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. Here's what WorldAtlas had to say about it:
"Opened in September 1976, its 1.4 million square feet of prime exhibit space is spread across 12 halls in three buildings, with a total footprint in downtown Atlanta next to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, now covering 3.9 million square feet. Although it was a more modest 350,000 square feet at the time, it was the first convention center in the country owned by a state....A 100,000-square-foot
addition completed in 2019 joined Halls B and C into more than one million square feet of contiguous floor. Notable events include its use as the International Broadcast Center for the 1996 Summer Olympics."

World Congress Center parking
The center provides multiple options for parking with decks and lots patrolled at all times. Rates and availability are subject to change, but you can pre-purchase parking. Each deck also has a limited number of EV chargers, but there aren't any in Blue and Yellow Lots.
