Inspector Notes: Observed personal drink stored in freezer with food. Observed plates flipped to have food contact surface facing up. Observed dried debris on edge of mixing bowl in dry dish storage area. Observed small insects inside of an out of service reach in cooler in main kitchen next to flat top grill. Observed fly near milkshake mixer and prep area.
North Beach Bar and Grill, 33 MEDDIN DRIVE UNIT A TYBEE ISLAND, 83
Inspector notes: Observed improper separation in the walk in cooler. Raw chicken wings were stored directly above raw fish and raw whole cut beef. Observed raw chicken stored directly next to raw shelled eggs with no form of separation. Observed fish fully thawed in ROP bags (tuna and grouper) with the package label stating fish must be fully removed from packaging before thawing, in the reach in portion of the prep-top cooler in front of the grill. Observed multiple food items (fish, whole cut beef) stored on the floor in the walk in cooler. Observed dust and debris build up on wire racks being used to store clean dishware above prep top coolers. Observed dust and debris build up on multiple fans throughout the kitchen. Observed dust and food debris build up on the gaskets of reach in cooler units throughout the facility.
Dockside Seafood Restaurant, 201 WEST RIVER STREET, SAVANNAH, 79
Inspector Notes: Observed items in reach-in cooler (green tomatoes and cheese) to be uncovered. Observed potatoes and shrimp in walk-in cooler to be stored with no lid. Observed several items in walk-in cooler to be holding over 41F. (See temperature log). Observed multiple TCS items (cut chicken, cut onions, sliced tomatoes) in facility to be held over 24 hours bearing no date label. Observed a build up of food debris on prep-top and reach-in gaskets. Observed build up of black substance on racks in walk-in cooler.
Local 11 Ten Restaurant, 1110 BULL STREET SAVANNAH, 78
Inspector Notes: Observed all shellstock (mussels) tags without the date of last sold. Observed raw ground beef stored on top of raw fish. Observed raw ground beef and raw fish stored above cut cantaloupe half. Observed chemical sanitizer not dispensing at mechanical dishwasher unit in main kitchen area. Observed mildew-like substance inside of ice maker machine. RCA: Equipment, food-contact surfaces, and utensils shall be clean to sight and touch.
