Primark opened its first Georgia store at Sugarloaf Mills shopping center in Lawrenceville. The second will be at Augusta Mall.
When did Primark's Georgia store open?
Sugarloaf Mills' Primark opened on Wednesday. It's open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday-Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
When does Primark Augusta Mall open?
Augusta Mall's Primark was initially supposed to open Sept. 10, but a spokesperson confirmed Wednesday that it would be pushed to a later date. More details will be announced "shortly."
What is Primark?
Primark is a "fast fashion" seller, producing trendy
clothing in volume to sell at lower prices. Online retail giants Shein and Temu follow a similar model. In a 2019 article, Forbes detailed their "incredibly low prices....overwhelming large number of fashion items" and a business model that gives customers a "kid-in-the-candy-store feeling."
Where is Primark from?
Primark was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1969. It's still headquartered there.
