The first week of the high school football season in the Greater Savannah area featured a number of notable individual performances.
Bradwell senior Cameron Keeve had a career night as the running back rushed for 255 yards and scored four total touchdowns in a win over New Hampstead.
Calvary Day's James Mobley IV threw for 315 yards and three scores in a win at Glynn Academy.
Bethesda's Jordan Turner had three touchdown runs and three scoring passes in a win over Northwood.
Windsor Forest junior Jayden Martin threw for 195 yards and a score and rushed for 118 yards and two touchdowns,including the game winner in an overtime win over Beach.
There were also some notable performances in volleyball, softball and cross county.

The senior rushed for 255 yards on 13 carries and had one catch for 40 yards while scoring four touchdowns in a win over New Hampstead.
Danni Lynn, South Effingham
The senior catcher, who has committed to play at Maryland, is hitting .589 with three homers and six RBIs through six games for the Mustangs (5-2).
James Mobley IV, Calvary Day
The senior was 20 of 27 passing for 315 yards and three touchdowns and ran for 49 yards and a score on seven carries in a win at Glynn Academy.
Carinne Cason, Savannah Christian
The junior setter recently reached the 1,000 assist milestone for her career ― becoming the fourth in school history to reach that mark. The Raiders are 11-0 on the season.
Jayden Martin, Windsor Forest
The junior was 15 of 23 passing for 195 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 118 yards and two scores, including the game winner in an overtime victory over Beach. He also picked off a pass on defense.
Morgan Stringer, South Effingham
The senior outside hitter, who has committed to play at Tennessee-Chattanooga, leads the Mustangs (11-5) with 147 kills on the season.
CJ Menzie, Richmond Hill
The senior rushed for 116 yards and a score on 24 carries in a win over Effingham County.
Matthew Dillon, Effingham County
The sophomore threw for 199 yards and a pair of touchdowns in his first varsity start for the Rebels in a 22-21 loss to Richmond Hill.
Antonio Wolfolk, Windsor Forest
The senior had 16 tackles in the win over Beach.
Daisy Willis, Richmond Hill
The junior setter leads the Wildcats (9-2) with 126 assists on the season.
Marlon Knight Jr., Calvary Day
The senior had seven catches for 135 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the win over Glynn Academy.
Jmere Doe-Davis, Effingham County
The senior ran for 150 yards and a touchdown and caught a scoring pass in the loss to Richmond Hill.
Eron Mallard, Benedictine
The Purdue-bound senior had four receptions for 111 yards and a score in a loss to Toombs County.
Justine Nevels, South Effingham
The senior first baseman has three homers and five RBIs early on for the Mustangs.
Tre' Brown, Richmond Hill
The senior, who has committed to Gardner-Webb, had nine tackles, with three for losses and a sack in the win over Effingham County.
Liam Coburn, South Effingham
The sophomore quarterback helped bring the Mustangs back to beat Screven County. He was 10-of-15 passing for 117 yards, with a 28-yard scoring pass to Ashton Holder, and also ran for a touchdown in the win.
Cain Tomlin, Savannah Christian
The junior ran for 142 yards and touchdown on eight carries and added 52 yards in returns in the Raiders win at Athens Academy.
Jordan Turner, Bethesda
The junior ran for a career-high 168 yards and three scores on eight carries and was 12 of 18 passing for 168 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Northwood Academy.
Parker Woods, Islands
The junior broke loose for a 78-yard run for his first varsity touchdown and ran for 110 yards in the Sharks win over Groves.
Wesley Dinkins, Savannah Christian
The sophomore ran for 138 yards and a pair of scores on 22 carries in the win at Athens Academy.
Luke Nelson, St. Andrew's
The sophomore ran for 88 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Hilton Head Prep.
Jayvion Williams, Beach
The senior ran for 101 yards and two scores and threw for 100 yards in the loss to Windsor Forest, according to Nathan Dominitz of the Prep Sports Report
Ka'Mond Young, Bethesda
The junior linebacker had 15 tackles in the win over Northwood Academy.
Taff James, Groves
The senior ran for a pair of scores and caught a touchdown pass in a loss to Islands.
Eddie Howell, Richmond Hill
The senior ran a time of 16:01 on the 3.1 mile course to finish 17th at the Cecil Field Summer Classic in Jacksonville, Fla.
Jack Kelley, St. Andrew's
The senior had 16 tackles with three for losses in the win over Hilton Head Prep.
Julia Anastasio, Richmond Hill
The senior ran a time of 19:06 on the 3.1 mile course to finish 12th at the Cecil Field Summer Classic in Jacksonville, Fla.
Thomas Holland, Savannah Country Day
The senior ran for 102 yards on 26 carries in a loss to Bluffton.
