Raising Cane's is bringing its beloved chicken fingers across the country, with several new locations opening over the summer including two in Georgia. Now, we have news of another.
New Raising Cane's restaurant coming to Savannah
Savannah-area fans first got notice of a potential new location with two job postings on the Raising Cane's website for a location at 7805 Abercorn St. The company's representative confirmed this new restaurant to USA TODAY via email on Wednesday, but details were limited and we were told information about the opening date won't be available until closer to the end of the year.
This will be the closest Raising Cane's for coastal Georgians with the nearest ones to Savannah being in Valdosta, Jacksonville, or in the Charleston area. One is opening soon in Statesboro.
The spot for the Savannah Raising Cane's is across from Oglethorpe Mall at Chatham Plaza which features several other businesses including a Chili's, Ross, and Ashley.
Which positions are Raising Cane's hiring?
The restaurant's website says it is hiring for a Restaurant Leader and Assistant Restaurant Leader in Savannah.
The former begins at $68,000 salary plus training incentives. The assistant position begins at $55,000 with training incentives.
Raising Cane's that have opened in Georgia
Raising Cane's recently opened a location in Albany and on August. 24 will open a Statesboro location. They also have restaurants in Athens, Buford, Columbus, Conyers, Cumming, Dacula, Duluth, Kennesaw, McDonough, Snellville, Valdosta, and Woodstock.
The Athens location is temporarily closed due to construction.

The first Raising Cane opened Aug. 28, 1996, in an old building at the North Gates of Louisiana State University. Its headquarters are located in Baton Rouge.
