Savannah’s southside will celebrate the grand opening of a new Chick-fil-A on White Bluff Road, part of a growing mixed-use development near Oglethorpe Mall.
The fast-food chain will open Thursday morning. Justin Bradley will operate the location, which is expected to employ 90 people and offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, and mobile-thru options.
Patrons who dress in cow attire on Thursday will receive a free entrée or kids' meal via the drive-thru or inside the restaurant. According to a news release, attire can range from a cow-spotted accessory to a full-on cow outfit or costume.
“Savannah has always been a special place for me and my family, and I love that it has the
opportunities of a growing city while still maintaining its small-town charm,” said Bradley in the release. “It means so much to return to a community I’ve always felt connected to. My wife, Brittany, and I look forward to putting down roots, serving our neighbors, and making a positive impact for years to come.”
Bradley has worked for Chick-fil-A for eight years, joining the restaurant chain in California in 2018. He is eager to give back to Savannah and has already committed to donating $25,000 to Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia Inc.
