Dave's Sports Bar and Grill in Atlanta was named the best sports bar in Georgia, and ranked No. 1 overall in the nation, according to a new ranking fromThe Action Network.
The Atlanta bar earned a 100 out of 100 score for keyword density and had a 4.9-star rating across thousands of reviews, according to the ranking.
The study evaluated sports bars across all 50 states, looking at factors including customer reviews, ratings and the language customers used when describing their experiences.
Dave's stood out for its game-day atmosphere, televisions and food and drink offerings, according to the analysis. The ranking specifically highlighted the bar as a destination for fans watching teams
including the Atlanta Falcons and Georgia Bulldogs.

What's on Dave's Sports Bar and Grill menu?
The Atlanta sports bar offers a wide-ranging menu that includes traditional game-day favorites and full entrees.
Some of the options include buffalo wings, boneless wings, nachos, quesadillas, chicken tenders, onion rings and jalapeno poppers.
The menu also features wraps, salads, tacos, sandwiches, burgers, flatbread pizzas, pasta and seafood entrees.
Prices listed in the restaurant's menu include $12.99 for five traditional wings, $15.99 for burgers, $14.99 for three tacos and $28.99 for grilled or blackened salmon. Menu prices can change.
How were the best sports bars ranked?
The Action Network said its research team began by identifying sports bars and taverns across the country and narrowing the field to 982 candidates after excluding corporate chains.
The team then analyzed 58,701 customer reviews from 949 active candidates, combining review information with each business's Google star rating and lifetime review volume.
The ranking also examined language in reviews for references to the atmosphere, televisions and food and drink quality.
Each business received a final score based on a formula that weighed keyword density at 50%, star rating at 35% and review volume at 15%.
Dave's ultimately received the highest score in the country, putting the Atlanta establishment ahead of sports bars in states including Oklahoma, Missouri, Vermont and New York.
For Georgia sports fans looking for a place to watch the next big game, the Atlanta bar now has a national title to add to its resume.
