On Aug. 3, Architectural Digest released a list of the prettiest towns in every state. The writers focused on "standout" towns that are both "stunning and abundant in culture."
St. Marys, GA named Georgia's prettiest town by Architectural Digest
Representing Georgia is St. Marys in the most southeast corner of the state, less than 40 miles north of Jacksonville and around 44 miles south of Brunswick. Here's what AD said about it:
"St. Marys serves as the gateway city to Cumberland Island, the largest of the barrier islands along the Georgia coast, and to the picture-perfect Cumberland Island National Seashore."

There aren't many hotels to stay at in St. Marys, but the top
two according to Tripadvisor are Sure Stay Plus by Best Western St. Marys followed by Riverview Hotel.
