As Bryan County students prepare to return to class next week, the school district is posting back-to-school information online to help families get ready for the first day of the 2026-27 school year on Wednesday, Aug. 5.
Here are three things to know before the first day of school.
New Principals
Jeff Polk has been named principal of Bryan County Middle High School, Heather Tucker will lead Richmond Hill High School and Amanda DiMarzio has been appointed principal of McAllister Elementary School.
"We are excited to welcome these talented leaders into their new positions and look forward to the positive impact they will have on our students, staff, and school communities," reads a statement from Bryan County Schools.

Registration
Bryan County Schools has provided guidance for parents looking to enroll new students. Proof of age, residency and immunization are among several key pieces of documentation needed. Parents looking to enroll their students can visit the school's website here for more information.
