Renters in Savannah saw apartment listing prices slightly decrease from August 2025's median of $1,950, an analysis of new data from rental marketplace Zumper shows.
The typical apartment listed for rent at $1,903 in August. Median listing prices in Savannah are trending slightly downwards from the previous month's $1,924 price.
The data covers all bedroom sizes, ranging from studios to four-bedroom units, within the specified metropolitan area. It reflects the median rent for all listings that were active at any given point during the month, according to Russell Middleton, co-founder of Zumper. New construction is included in the data and listings that are currently occupied or no longer available are excluded.
Out of 1,377
rental listings in Savannah, two are subsidized. When those are excluded, the overall median rent for listed apartments goes to $1,910.
One-bedroom apartments listed to rent at a median of $1,550, slightly lower than July, when they were $1,595. Since August 2025, one-bedroom rental prices slightly dropped from $1,600.
Two-bedroom apartments listed for rent had no change since July at a central price of $1,700, compared to $1,700. Since August 2025, two-bedroom rental prices slightly dropped from $1,700.
Statewide, Georgia rental listing prices are very close to July's median of $1,868. One-bedroom rentals were listed for a typical price of $1,367, slightly lower than July's average of $1,393. Two-bedroom rental listing prices are trending slightly lower than July's central price of $1,540 at $1,503.
In Savannah, the typical apartment listed for rent is slightly higher than the state median. One-bedroom rentals were 13% above the state median, while two-bedrooms listed 13% above.
Nationwide, apartment rental listing prices are in line with the previous month's $1,900. One-bedroom rentals across the nation listed for a typical price of $1,550, the same as the previous month, while two-bedroom rental listing prices held steady to the previous month's median of $1,800.
In Savannah, the typical apartment listed for rent is almost the same as the national median. One-bedroom apartment rentals listed the same as the national median, with two-bedroom rentals listed 6% below.
The median apartment rental prices used in this report are gathered from Zumper, which aggregates over one million active listings posted by brokers and landlords to Zumper's Landlord Platform and third-party listings from MLS providers to calculate median asking rents.
