Georgia's best employers include Delta Air Lines, a major Atlanta hospital, and a popular college among others, according to Forbes' latest analysis.
The business news outlet released its list of "America's Best Employers by State," which it produced in partnership with market research firm Statista. To create the list, more than 245,000 employees at companies with at least 500 people nationwide were asked about wages and benefits, management style, company reputation, flexibility and career advancement opportunities.

Top Georgia-based employers for 2026
Earlier this year, Forbes also ranked the best large employers in America in another partnership with Statista based on similar criteria with more than 217,000 surveyed responses. Here were the top 10 from Georgia and where they
rank in the "Best Employers by State" list:
- Delta Air Lines: 1st in Georgia, 13th in U.S.
- Children's Healthcare of Atlanta: 4th in Georgia, 45th in U.S.
- Southern Company: 91st in Georgia, 110th in U.S.
- Forsyth County School District: 58th in Georgia, 156th in U.S.
- Georgia Southern University: 59th in Georgia, 171st in U.S.
- Coca-Cola: 36th in Georgia, 225th in U.S.
- American Cancer Society: 244th in U.S. (not in Georgia's top 100)
- Innova Solutions: 272nd in U.S. (not in Georgia's top 100)
- Mohawk Industries: 62nd in Georgia, 324th in U.S.
- Veritiv: 326th in U.S. (not in Georgia's top 100)
