Here are the top performers from Week 4 in Lubbock-area high school football:
Gavyn Knelsen, Seminole
Knelsen caught six passes for 208 yards and three TDs in a win over Hereford. He also led the team with 61 yards and a TD on two carries.
A.J. Huddleston, Idalou
Huddleston ran for 201 yards and three TDs on eight carries in a win over Fort Stockton. He also scored a 44-yard TD on his only reception.
Jacob Gonzales, Seminole
Gonzales was 28-of-33 passing for 404 yards and seven TDs.
Sammy Saenz, Littlefield
Saenz was 11-for-20 passing for 315 yards and three TDs in a win over Christoval. He also ran for 75 yards and two TDs on nine carries.
Chase Lantelme, Ropes
Lantelme led the team with 112 yards and two TDs on seven carries in a win over Panhandle. He was 4-of-7 passing for
147 yards, one TD and one interception.
Tak Miller, Farwell
Miller rushed for 149 yards and two TDs on 16 carries, adding a 44-yard reception, in a win over Muleshoe. He was 1-of-5 passing for 63 yards and a TD.
Jude Heard, Idalou
Heard ran nine times for 177 yards and three TDs.
Coy Miller, Farwell
Miller led the team with 179 yards and two TDs on 16 carries. He was 1-of-5 passing for 44 yards.
Logan Winn, Shallowater
Winn was 16-of-22 passing for 259 yards, four TDs and two interceptions in a win over Monahans. He ran for 28 yards and a TD on three carries.
Jayden Barrio, Littlefield
Barrio made five catches for 163 yards and two TDs, along with five tackles and an interception on defense.
Daniel Rojas, Littlefield
Rojas ran 10 times for 124 yards and two TDs. He also made 11 tackles (three solo), including one for a loss.
David Franco, Denver City
Franco completed 28-of-43 passes for 227 yards, one TD and one interception in a win over Roosevelt. He also ran for 32 yards and a TD on six carries.
James Ortega, Denver City
Ortega rushed for 148 yards on 23 carries.
Andres Ornelas, Denver City
Ornelas carried 19 times for 52 yards and four TDs. He also completed his only pass for 29 yards.
Branson Simental, Ropes
Simental caught one pass for a 97-yard TD.
Britton Mitchell, Ropes
Mitchell recorded 21 tackles (eight solo), including three for a loss, one sack and four quarterback hurries.
Kasey Heide, Seminole
Heide recorded 12 tackles (nine solo), including three for a loss.
Gabriel Mata, Littlefield
Mata had two catches for 100 yards and a TD.
Brayden Hurst, Idalou
Hurst was 9-of-11 passing for 135 yards and two TDs. He also recorded a 34-yard reception.
Kolter Dockery, Ropes
Dockery made two catches for 93 yards and a TD. He also recorded 16 tackles (eight solo) and one pass breakup.
Jax Malone, New Deal
Malone rushed for 125 yards on 19 carries in a win over Seagraves.
Lucas Mijares, Seagraves
Mijares ran for 98 yards and two TDs.
Brandon Espinoza, Littlefield
Espinoza rushed three times for 85 yards and a TD.
Trae Miller, Denver City
Miller had 10 catches for 85 yards and a TD.
Cruz Dickson, Shallowater
Dickson caught three passes for 72 yards and a TD.
Kolt Micheletti, Abernathy
Micheletti ran for 97 yards on 15 carries in a loss to Coahoma.
Luis Ornelas, Denver City
Ornelas recorded 13 catches for 83 yards.
Jaycen Robledo, Seminole
Robledo caught 10 passes for 82 yards.
Micah Blackshear, Shallowater
Blackshear had four catches for 52 yards and two TDs.
