Baptist University’s School of Business celebrated the arrival of its new market ticker this month at its campus in Plainview.
Students, faculty and community representatives attended the Sept. 15 event, where refreshments were served.
The Starnes Business Ticker is named for Charles Starnes, professor of economics, in recognition of his leadership and vision. Jason Geesey, professor of marketing, and Bashir Easter, associate dean for graduate programs and assistant professor of management, helped fund and advance the project.
