Organizers have confirmed the location for President Donald Trump's planned Oct. 27 appearance in Lubbock to rally support for Republican Ken Paxton's U.S. Senate bid ahead of the Nov. 3 election.
The rally will be on Tuesday, Oct. 27, with doors opening at 11 a.m. at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, 1501 Mac Davis Lane. Initial communications did not confirm the location, but on Wednesday, a media registration form through events.gop.com revealed the location. Trump is scheduled to appear around 2:30 p.m.
Tickets for the rally are limited to four per group, and can be registered for at https://events.gop.com/events/midterm-rally-in-lubbock-texas-president-donald-j-trump-djt47. Trump's return to Texas comes as Paxton faces a tough election battle,
slightly trailing Democrat James Talarico in most recent polls.
That same day, Talarico will have a rally at 6 p.m. at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion, 2680 Drive of Champions, on the Texas Tech campus.
