It's another big week for Mamaroneck, which has worked its way back into relevancy following a humbling loss.
The Tigers came back late to beat Scarsdale two weeks ago then got a huge stop in overtime to send North Rockland home to deal with disappointment. And here comes undefeated New Rochelle, which is one statement win away from being ranked among the Class AA contenders.
Mamaroneck jumped to No. 2 in the Section 1 rankings this week but will have to. maintain its momentum on the field to stay there.
