Three people were rescued Sunday after their boat sank off Manursing Island in Westchester County.
The City of Rye Police Department and Westchester County Police marine units responded to the area Sunday afternoon after receiving a report that three people were in the water.
According to police, the boat had sunk about 45 minutes before officers arrived.

Westchester County Police marine officers rescued the three people and transported them to Playland.
All three declined medical attention, police said.
Sunken boat recovered
Sea Tow later recovered the vessel.
Police have not said what caused the boat to sink. The incident remains under investigation.
