The three nominees will get their first chance to remove themselves from the block and earn safety for the week during tonight's Power of Veto competition. If one of them wins, Barrett will need to put up a replacement nominee as the group heads into the ninth live eviction on Thursday.

If one of the nominees wins the Power of Veto, they can remove themself from the block, and then Barrett, the current HOH, will have to put up a replacement nominee. If Barrett or another houseguest that's not on the block wins the veto, they could decide to keep the current nominations as they are.
The Power of Veto competition is pre-filmed and many fans who watch the live streams closely may have already gotten an inside peek into how the competition played out, but those not tuned into the live feeds will see it air for the first time tonight.
