Four men were arrested on kidnapping and robbery charges in Mount Vernon after they allegedly chased a man down with a car, forced him into the car and stole his backpack and cell phone, according to court records.
Jaden Moye, 18, Jkwon Thompson, 22, and Kemarle Brookes, 18, all of the Bronx, and Nate Parks, 18, of Yonkers, were charged with second-degree kidnapping, third-degree robbery and second-degree attempted assault following the incident on Wednesday, Oct. 14.
According to the criminal complaint filed in Mount Vernon City Court, just before noon that day the four were in a gray 2026 Kia chasing a 30-year-old man as he ran down Hamilton Avenue. The car jumped a curb and rode onto the front lawn of a home nearly hitting the man, who fell
to the ground trying to get away.

The man was forced into the car and his eyes covered with two Covid masks, according to the complaint, as the four men then took his cell phone and backpack.
Details of how long the man was kept in the car and where and when the men were arrested were not in the complaint and police on Friday did not respond to a request for more details.
All four men were arraigned and ordered held on bail amounts ranging from $25,000 to $50,000. All were still at the Westchester County jail as of Monday, Oct. 19, with new court dates this week.
Moye is awaiting trial in the Bronx on weapon charges stemming from a December 2025 arrest, after which he was released on non-monetary bail conditions, according to state court records.
