The summer of restaurant closures continues in Westchester where two more spots have ended their runs. As always, though, there's signage in one of the vacant spaces with news of another new eatery coming soon. It's all part of the county's ever-evolving dining landscape.

Tipsy Taco Bar, Scarsdale
This 100-seat Mexican restaurant, which opened in early 2023, has closed. The vibrantly decorated eatery, with the hashtag "Let's Get Tipsy" was a second location of the original, which opened in Mount Kisco in 2019. That restaurant remains as well as the Tipsy Taco Truck, remain unaffected. 56 Garth Road, tipsytacobar.com.
The Wooden Spoon, New Rochelle
After nine years on Division Street in downtown New Ro and two
in the Wykagyl Shopping Center, The Wooden Spoon has closed. The eatery, which served its last meal Aug. 16, was known for its comfort food, as well as its interior wooden spoon theme. It's being replaced by Duke's Ramen, a staple in Mamaroneck since Dec. 2022. The eatery, popular for its traditional and not-so-traditional takes on a Japanese ramen shop, should be open by October. Chef/Owner Gene Lum also has plans to open later this year in White Plains. 1282 North Ave., dukesramen.com.
