Last week, with seven athletes nominated, readers chose White Plains senior Micalyn Kelly as lohud Field Hockey Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital.
Kelly, a midfielder who had a goal and three assists over two games, joined prior winners Ava Galati, of Clarkstown, Alina Cavajani of Panas, Alexa Butler of Clarkstown, Taylor Stillwaggon of Mahopac, Sophia Gac of Valhalla and Lila Walsh of North Rockland.
This week, coaches have nominated five players for the award for their Oct. 19-25 play. Read about their performances below.
The poll will close at 3 p.m. Wednesday.

CC Liu, Rye Country Day
The junior defenseman may not have appeared on the score sheet but had numerous takeaways and interceptions that she followed with outlet passes up the field, leading
to goals in the Wildcats' 4-2 win over Chapin and 5-2 win over Brearley.
Madeline McGowan, Clarkstown
Since moving from defense as a freshman to mostly right midfield, the Clarkstown South sophomore has shown a strong ability to move the ball up the sideline to create offensive chances for her team. After scoring four days earlier in a 2-1 win over Suffern, last week she also had Clarkstown's goal in a 2-1 setback to Mahopac.
Taylor Minerva, Pleasantville
After scoring the previous week in a 2-1 win over Ursuline the senior forward, who's known for her powerful, offense-creating crosses, scored last week again as Pleasantville defeated Hastings to pick up its 10th win of the season.
Annabelle Pragay, Edgemont
The goalie capped an outstanding senior season and her Panthers career by recording 22 saves in a 1-0 loss to Sleepy Hollow/Briarcliff. Pragay, who recently recorded 20 saves in a loss to North Rockland and 18 in a loss to Ketcham — two Class A schools — averaged a remarkable 20.3 saves per game this season while recording a school-record 326 stops for the year. Pending state review and approval, that number will place Pragay No. 2 all-time among high school goalies in New York for single-season saves.
Liv Prata, Rye
The speedy senior forward, who'll play field hockey next year for Dickinson College, registered a hat trick as the Garnets beat Brewster 7-1 in their first-round Section 1 Class B playoff game.
