Fall season is short. While there's still a chunk of September left, some area high school field hockey teams have already plowed through a third of their regular-season schedule. While an individual game in September may not seem to be of paramount importance, each game represents potential playoff seedings points, meaning it carries as much mathematical weight as a game late in the season.
