It's time to take a look at the standout performers from the past week of the volleyball season.
We'd like you to choose the lohud Volleyball Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital. Finalists and their credentials are listed below. The poll will remain open until 3 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23. The winner will be announced Wednesday on lohud sports social media.
Nominees are based on play from Sept. 14-20

Kailey Alexander, Yorktown
The senior middle hitter received All-Tournament honors as the Huskers won their home tournament. Yorktown also went 3-0 in matches in the last week. Alexander had six kills and a dig against Hendrick Hudson, four kills, three blocks, a dig and an assist
against Somers, and 10 kills and three blocks against Horace Greeley.
Devin Cunney, Tappan Zee
The senior middle hitter helped Tappan Zee win the Briarcliff and was named MVP with seven kills and three blocks in the single-set final over Pelham. In a win against Albertus Magnus, Cunney had 14 kills and two blocks. In a win over Clarkstown North, Cunney had nine kills and a block.
Morgan Jimenez, Nanuet
The junior middle hitter had 30 kills, 10 blocks, four aces and a .482 hitting percentage over the last week.
Katelyn Kourakos, Somers
The senior setter had 10 kills, 29 assists, 12 digs and three aces over the last week.
Veronica Massey, North Rockland
The senior outside hitter had 13 kills, seven aces and 16 digs in a sweep of Tappan Zee, and 18 kills and 21 digs in a five-set win over Clarkstown South.
Melissa Petitta, Eastchester
The senior outside hitter had 46 kills, 55 digs, 12 aces and five assists over the last week as the Eagles went 2-1
Gia Pinilla, Harrison
The junior setter had 29 assists, nine digs, four kills and two aces against Rye, and 56 assists, 11 digs, three aces and two kills against Walter Panas. Pinilla was also key in Harrison's weekend tournament win.
Paige Swift, Irvington
The senior setter had 60 assists, 41 digs, six aces and five kills over the last week in which the Bulldogs went 2-1.
