It's time to determine which varsity sports team in the Lower Hudson Valley is Team of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital for the period from August 29 to September 6.
Each week, we will accept nominations from athletic departments and team coaches. Then you vote on which team should be Team of the Week.
We encourage departments and coaches to participate. This weekly poll is open to varsity teams (not football) from Westchester, Rockland and Putnam only. Football teams will be included in our Football Team of the Week poll. Email Phil Strum at pstrum@lohud.com with any other questions.
The poll, which will run Sunday-Tuesday throughout the school year, closes at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Let's meet the nominees.
