Chipotle Mexican Grillis opening its first drive-thru in West Haverstraw July 28.
This is the third location for the fast food chain in Rockland, but the first with a Chipotlane. The eatery is also offering its high protein menu along with limited time offerings such as Chipotle Honey Chicken and Cilantro Lime Sauce.

National chains have recently become a big part of the dining landscape in the Lower Hudson Valley. Wonder opened in Nanuet in last April with Chick-fil-A right behind it with an August debut in Nanuet. Plus, coming soon are Taco Bell (to 27-29 Route 59) in Nyack and Nana's Dim Sum & Dumplings (to 1125 Fashion Drive) at the the Nanuet Town Center.
Across the river
in Westchester, new chains have either opened or are coming soon. Among them: Maman, The Salad House, Ugly Dumpling, Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings, Caffè Nero, and Nippon Cha.
