We're at the halfway point of the regular season.
It's been a bumpy ride with several programs dealing with numbers issues and Mother Nature postponing half a dozen games last weekend. We know who the contenders are. There's going to be a little more shuffling before the playoffs, but there are several teams in position to go into the postseason without a loss.
Section 1 rankings

1. Somers (4-0)
After coasting for three weeks, can the Tuskers dial up the intensity and stomp on the gas?

2. Clarkstown South (4-0)
A forced week off cannot be sitting well with a team that has a lot of momentum.

This needs to be the best tackling week of the season
or Somers will control the clock.
