Two Westchester County corrections officers have been arrested in an ongoing investigation, but officials are mum on what they allegedly did.
Diamond Davis, 33, of Yonkers, and Kimesha Foster, 47, of Mount Vernon, were arrested Monday at the Westchester County Jail by investigators with the District Attorney's Office, according to a DA's Office news release.
They are charged with official misconduct, a misdemeanor, and were directed to appear in Mount Pleasant Town Court on Thursday. Davis and Foster were placed on administrative leave following their arrests.
A lawyer believed to be representing them could not immediately be reached.
The news release included lengthy quotes
about the officers' breach of trust and violation of their oath of office from DA Susan Cacace, County Executive Ken Jenkins and Commissioner Joseph Spano, but no explanation about what the alleged misconduct was.
The Department of Correction's major case squad and special investigations unit are assisting in the probe.
