A staff member at Paideia School 15 in Yonkers has been reassigned after students reported concerns that the employee may have photographed female students during gym class.
According to Yonkers Public Schools, school administrators met with the students and the staff member after receiving the complaints. The district said it conducted an initial review and referred the matter for further investigation.
The employee was reassigned to nonteaching duties in another school building while the investigation continues. District officials have not identified the staff member or disclosed the person's position.
The principal also notified parents about the incident in a letter.
No charges have been announced, and the allegations remain under investigation.
