Energy drinks have become all the buzz, and soon, New Yorkers will get the chance to grab one at their local McDonald's.
The fast food chain announced the launch of its new Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer, which McDonald's said will mark the company's official entrance into energy drinks.
"We’ve seen growing enthusiasm for our crafted sodas and refreshers as fans look for more variety and options to fit every occasion," Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer Alyssa Buetikofer said. "They loved the Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer when we first tested it in the U.S., so we're excited to give fans nationwide the energy they’ve been craving with Red Bull. And we're just getting started."

What is the new McDonald's Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer?
McDonald's announced that its new Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer will include:
- Red Bull base, or Red Bull Zero base
- blue raspberry syrup
- freeze-dried dragonfruit inclusions
"Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer is a bold, fruit-forward sip that's as vibrant as it is energizing," the fast food chain wrote in its announcement.
The Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer will include 80 mg of caffeine. Red Bull 8.4 oz cans will also become available for purchase at participating McDonald's locations.

McDonald's new Red Bull Dragonberry Energizer drink will be available to customers at participating restaurants for a limited time, or until supplies last. New Yorkers can check the nearest McDonald's location, use the McDonald’s app, or order through delivery partners like DoorDash to see where it is available.
McDonald's locations are hard to miss in New York. There are approximately 574 restaurants within the Empire State, according to ScrapeHero.
