Last week with five athletes nominated for lohud Field Hockey Player of the Week, presented by White Plains Hospital, readers gave the honor to Panas goalie Alina Cavajani, who had 21 saves in a loss to district rival Lakeland.
Cavajani joined previous winners Alexa Butler of Clarkstown, Taylor Stillwaggon of Mahopac, Sophia Gac of Valhalla and Lila Walsh of North Rockland.
This week coaches have nominated four players for the period of Oct. 5-11.
The poll will close at 3 p.m. Wednesday with the winner announced on lohudsports Instagram.

Ava Galati, Clarkstown
The senior midfielder from Clarkstown South didn't have any eye-popping stats last week. But she did what she has done each game she has played: Run the entire length of the field, creating offensive opportunities
and stopping other teams' offensive rushes. Galati both excelled as Clarkstown's stick stopper on offensive corners and as its flier (assigned to stop or break up shots and passes) on defensive corners in a win over Suffern and loss to Horace Greeley.
Keira Harm, North Rockland
The sophomore midfielder netted three goals in the Red Raiders' 6-0 win over Edgemont.
Katelyn Nessel, Pleasantville
The senior defenseman stopped multiple shots and offensive rushes by John Jay-East Fishkill in a shutout loss and also had a terrific defensive game, doing the same things in a 2-1 win over Scarsdale.
Mila Tomlin, White Plains
The Tiger keeper stopped 10 shots in a 1-0 win over Rye. She had 11 stops in a 3-0 loss to No. 3-ranked Yorktown and three saves in a 6-0 win over Arlington. This came after the previous week in which she had 10 saves in a 2-0 loss to No. 1-ranked Mamaroneck.
