With the fall season fast approaching, we've begun the processing of selecting lohud's Elite 11 girls soccer players. From a watch list that included more than 130 standouts and rising stars, we've whittled it down by more than two-thirds, coming up with a group of finalists.
Each of these players has compiled an impressive resume to this point, highlighted by some combination of awards and accolades, their contributions to team success, and skills that have impressed their peers and area coaches, with consideration given to college commitments.
The Elite 11 will be selected and revealed online Aug. 31, before the regular season kicks off next week.
