An Ossining man was arrested Thursday after police accused him of repeatedly watching a woman through a bathroom window at her New Castle home.

According to the New Castle Police Department, a woman reported that she had seen a man watching her through a bathroom window on several occasions during the early morning hours.
On Thursday, Oct. 1, New Castle detectives established surveillance around the home and observed Juan G. Guambana, 50, of Ossining, looking through the window while the woman was inside, police said.
Guambana was arrested and charged with six counts of second-degree unlawful surveillance, all felonies.
Police said an investigation determined that Guambana and the woman did not know each other.
Investigation remains ongoing
The New Castle Police Department said
the investigation remains ongoing and additional charges could be filed.
Police said Guambana was acting alone and there was no indication of an ongoing threat or danger to the public.
Guambana was arraigned Oct. 1 in New Castle Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to return to court Nov. 5, according to police.
